Meet the site manager

Kimani has over eight years of experience in education and management. His passion for working with vulnerable and marginalized populations has gained him immense experience as a frontliner. A community leader and mobilizer, Kimani holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies (refugee education) from the University of British Columbia and is skilled in curriculum development, research, data analysis/management, coaching, and project management. Outside of work, Kimani enjoys games, watching cycling, organizing events, reading, and listening to good/vibes music. In living his dream, Kimani believes in the teachings of the Ubuntu/Utu African essence of being human: “You are because I am, and I am because you are!"
